Biggest Trend in College: Leggings

Leggings have been a trend that has come and gone in fashion a lot since the 1980’s.  The trend is very popular now, and has been for the past few years or so.  Any college campus that you walk onto in the U.S., you will see tons of girls that have them on.  I personally love leggings.

Leggings can come in every style, fabric, color & ect. Just about anything that you could possibly want, you can find. The most popular, and my personal favorite, is the simple black leggings that can go with sweaters, t-shirts, boots, scarves …anything! That’s why I like them so much. (Plus they are super comfy!)

Then there are the leggings that look like jeans, which are called “jeggings.” They look identical to jeans, but have the comfort of leggings.  I think they are a great invention.

Back to the topic where you can get just about anything in leggings, comes another cool trend. The bondage-strap leggings. I think that these have a cool look to them when you feel like looking different.

Leggings can be so funky, and have cool prints — like these that have cheetah print — that can come in different animal prints, pleather and all sorts of cool colors.

Leggings, in my opinion, are one of the more casual bottoms that also can look nice. They have the comfort of sweat pants, whenever you feel like dressing down and casual, but have an effortless look.
